Now that we've moved, I've finally gotten around to creating a small album of the many pictures I've taken from the  balcony of our condo in Shibuya.   I never tired of the view, which changed continuously with the season and time of day.

Being Tokyo, the skies are not always so clear, but when they are the view is spectacular. The tall buildings in the background are in Shinjuku.

Same view, but in the early afternoon.  I never tired of this view because it was always changing.

During the monsoon season, storms are common, high winds and buckets of rain.  A good day to stay inside P4.jpg (80621 bytes)
And of course, there are the fireworks for which Japan is famous.

During much of the year, Mt. Fuji is hidden by clouds and, sometimes, air thick with smog.  But in the winter, it's usually visible.  The buildings in the foreground are near Shibuya station.

On a stormy day, the clouds gave way at sunset to create this dramatic view. P7.JPG (61010 bytes)
